Five minute Friday: lost

The other day someone asked a question that I related to, we were being taken through  step by step on an assignment. All of us were quiet, not really understanding what was going on, trying to act like we were getting it. Then this lady asked, “Is it OK to feel lost sometimes”. From the sighs and murmurs it seemed everyone had the same question. We had all put up a good show acting like we understood all that was being explained to us, but secretly not getting it.

So, is it OK to feel lost sometimes? Because I personally feel lost lots of times. Even with chatted of plans and a lists of stuff on my to do list every once in a while I will feel stuck. Then i look around and it seems like everyone else knows where they are going., but do they really?

this is my first 5 minute Friday post, i learnt about it here

Ill just copy paste the instructions on how to go about #FMF from Grace’s blog

“On Fridays around these parts we like to write. Not for comments or traffic or anyone else’s agenda. But for pure love of the written word. For joy at the sound of syllables, sentences and paragraphs all strung together by the voice of the speaker.

We love to just write without worrying if it’s just right or not. For five minutes flat.

Here’s how we do it:

1. Write for 5 minutes flat with no editing, tweaking or self critiquing.

2. Link back here and invite others to join in {you can grab the button code in my blog’s footer}.

3. Go and tell the person who linked up before you what their words meant to you. Every writer longs to feel heard.

OK, are you ready? Give me your best five minutes for the prompt: Mess.”

Beauty. laughter. smiles. words. coffee. music. I love these, beyond all I love Jesus.
